Welcome to the Maryland Chapter of Romance Writers of America®. Maryland Romance Writers’ objective is to encourage new writers and support published authors. Monthly meetings, plus special one-day workshops featuring a line-up of guest speakers, are developed with the input of all chapter members to ignite your muse. We celebrate our successes and even our rejections with cheers and chocolate. Additionally, we have the opportunity to attend many sister chapters’ events and the Romance Writers of America® Annual National Conference, where writers network with each other and industry professionals. RWA National Convention July 15 - 18th There is no meeting scheduled for July 2009 so that our chapter members can have the opportunity to attend the RWA National Convention, located at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C.  Our next chapter meeting is scheduled for August 20th.
